Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Product Reviews

I recently received a few products complimentary from Influenster to try out and rather than posting full on reviews of each, I filmed a makeup look using the products so that you can really see it in action. You can view the full video here on my Instagram page. Not into video? Some of my thoughts on the products are below. All opinions are my own.

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Longwear Foundation Stick SPF 21 – I typically don’t use Lancôme foundations, so was surprised at how much I liked this product. It blended in smoothly and I immediately felt that it left a second-skin type of finish, which was funny because I didn’t read the product description before trying it, which says just that! I also noticed that it covered so well that I didn’t end up using as much concealer as I normally would.

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer – This is a super lightweight concealer that offers great coverage. It did a great job of hiding my blemishes and dark circles. I learned very quickly that a little goes a long way as previous reviews have stated. I usually pack concealer on under my eyes very heavily in order to hide my incredibly dark circles, but applied way too much of this on the first use, since I was not expecting it to be so highly pigmented. I ended up blending the excess with a beauty blender, and really liked how smoothly it melted into my foundation.

Lancôme Click & Glow Highlighting Skin Fluid – I really like the natural look of this highlighter. This isn’t the type of product you use if you want the type of extreme glows you see on Instagram beauty stars. Instead, it gives a lit-from-within look that makes your skin have a J-lo glow that looks like a candle is following your face around all day. The clickable applicator is cute but useless for the actual application. I prefer to put the product on my finer and lightly tap it into the skin for a dewy look.

Lancôme Le Métallique Metallic Lip Lacquer – I received the Polished Rose shade of this lip gloss from Influenster and to be honest, I found it very sticky and uncomfortable to wear. It’s also way to shiny for my personal taste, and since the hue of the shade I had isn’t really tinted, I felt like I would get a similar result just wearing oil on my lips. Perhaps I would have felt different if I tested a pigmented color. I probably would only ever try wearing it again to give a matte color more shine. I’m wearing it at the end of the Instagram video if you would like to see how it looks.
