With all the chaos in the world, there’s one thing you do have control of – your mind. Try one of these free apps to give you the mental boost you need so your mind, body and spirit remain healthy.

UCLA Mindful App – With the guidance of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center, this app provides free meditations, podcasts and video in both English and Spanish. The also have wellness meditations for people suffering from challenging health conditions.

Ten Percent Happier – This meditation app has put together a special Coronavirus Sanity Guide, which includes free podcasts, guided meditations and talks, with no sign-up required. Click here for access.

Aura – This app provides free daily 3-minute guided meditation sessions or you can opt to listen to unguided meditations with the sounds of nature.

Insight Timer – With over 30,000 free guided meditations and music tracks, you have plenty to choose from. Plus, you can access them on your desktop without registering.

Stop, Breathe & Think – Access over 20 free activities, and if you want more you can subscribe to premium content options.

Smiling Mind – Developed by a not-for-profit organization to make mindfulness meditation accessible to all, there are several program available, which are grouped by ages ranging from young children to adults. There are even tools to teach mindfulness in the classroom, sports training and workplace.

Wave – A music-guided mediation app with modern beats there are some cool limited free features including an into album, staff picks and weekly “tracks.”
