Months ago I attended a trade show and received products from SW Basics when I stopped by their booth to learn more. The products are certified organic, cruelty free and fair trade or sourced from family farms. They’re also only made with 5 ingredients or less.

The all-natural, sustainable skin care line is based in Brooklyn, New York, and offers face, body, fragrance and wellness products. The packaging is as simple as the ingredients in them: a black label with clearly listed ingredients upfront and a hit of color indicating what type of product it is (ex: body oil, mask, serum…etc).

In an era where we are becoming more aware of unnecessary harsh ingredients lurking in the beauty products we use, it’s refreshing to see a brand that is transparent and few of chemicals.

I’m loving the Cream which is made with organic shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. I use it on my skin, lips and hair to tame flyaways.
