I recently received a gift from a friend of a new high-quality cosmetics line that features stylish colors and sleek packaging. The line, Doucce, isn’t very well known yet, but I predict that this will be one of the top makeup brands next year. This past week I created a makeup look using products I received, and I got so many compliments on my makeup (pictured above). If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen this look. Here are the products I used.
Mineral Two Way Cake – This is the line’s full coverage foundation powder, which gives a matte finish. I had shade 32 (Dark Chocolate), which is wayyyy to dark for me, so after I applied my usual foundation, I used this as a bronzer to warm my face. If I was going for a more dramatic look, I would also use it contour. The consistency of the powder was very smooth and it buffed into the skin very easily. I could see how as a foundation, you would get a natural look, as it was easily blendable and didn’t look cakey.
Freematic Eye Shadow – For this I had shade 13 (Amazon Tree Tops), 4-color palette eye shadow which features two shades of greens and two neutral colors, all of which have shimmer. They glided on softly and blended into each other virtually effortlessly. For the look pictured above I used the darker brown for the crease, smudged it out with the lighter neutral, then used the two greens on the lid.
Cheek Blush – I had shade 47 (Paris Red), which is an interesting mane for it, because it’s more of a pink color as you can see from the picture. Regardless, it’s absolutely stunning and easily to blend. It’s completely matte and there’s no shimmer in it, but it gives you a soft, angelic glow.
Mineral Matte Lipstick – I used shade 914 (Purple Plum), which features SPF 10 and vitamin e. It has a hydrating texture so you feel like you’re wearing a cross between a lip balm and a matte lipstick. The color is gorgeous and long-lasting.
Liquid Deep Eyeliner – I always wondered how so may beauty gurus have the most amazing eyeliner looks, and their secret is using an amazing, high-quality eye liner and this one from Doucce is incredible. It has a rich dark pigment, easy-to-us liner tip and it stays put!
Brow Filler Pencil – This double-ended brow tool did wonders for my arches. I used shade 616 (Heavy Brown) and loved how easy the product was to use, and having the bush on the end made it so easy to blend everything in place.
