Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (aka OCC cosmetics) recently launched their new Spring/Summer 2015 line featuring neutral shades to pretty pastels to bright, bold hues. All six of the matte lip shades have complimentary nail colors to match so you can take those fun Instagram selfies with your hands in the picture to show that you have a fabulous manicure to match the gorgeous shade on your lips.

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen a couple of pictures I posted wearing Cha Cha, which the brand describes as “pale tangerine.” After wearing it, I don’t think I would describe the color as pale. Instead it’s a bright, yet soft shade of orange that is bold and in-you-face, and not meant to be worn by the shy and timid. But, if shy and timid describes you, there are other colors such as John Doe, a nude and Memento, a pink/plum neutral.

The nail polish lasted about 5 days before it started to chip and the lip color stayed put for hours. Because the lip color is a liquid, I would recommend using a brush to spread it around nicely around the contours of your lips.

What do you think about the matching nail and lip trend?
