Whenever I receive a product for review, I spend a significant amount of time testing it, as it’s important to me that I associate with brands that I genuinely like and would continue using long after the review is posted. BLVNCO is one of those brands. I received the brand’s Natural Teeth Whitening Bundle BLVNCO Box (£49.99) for review over a month ago, and have been using it regularly and here are my thoughts on why you should, too.
1. It’s chemical-free. The products are 100% organic and utlizes coconut shell activated charcoal as a natural detoxifier to bind and pull out the toxins in your mouth. The charcoal features a special blend of re-mineralizing ingredients such as calcium bentonite clay, myrrh essential oil, coconut oil and peppermint, all of which work together with the goal of whitening teeth and providing a complete oral detox. I’ll admit the dark powder scared me at first, because I thought I would have a rough time getting the color off my teeth, but it rinses off easily, and whatever is left can effortlessly be removed with a toothbrush swipe. Plus, it has a lovely peppermint scent. After 2 weeks, I saw a noticeable difference in the shade of my teeth.
2. It helps improve your oral health. Oil-pulling is known for its many benefits including reducing inflammation, preventing cavities, healing gums and treating bad breath. The kit comes with 14 Fresh Mint Coconut Oil Pulling sachets which feature two simple ingredients: coconut oil and peppermint oil. You are supposed to swish it around your mouth for up to 20 mins (I think the most I lasted was about 10 mins, but I’m working on it!). I’ve been carrying the sachets around with me and if I’m in between meetings, I’ll run to the restroom and use the oil for 2-5 mins.
3. It’s ecofriendly. Not only are the ingredients natural, but the kit also comes with a bio-degradable eco-friendly bamboo toothbrush with charcoal bristles, so you can feel good about using something that will safely break down and not harm the environment.
