Cucumbers contain antioxidants and flavonoids that are said to reduce irritation, so if your puffiness is accompanied by irritation, grab that cucumber from the fridge, slice it up and lay back. The cold temperature of the cucumbers is really what will reduce the swelling. That said, anything cold placed under your eyes for 5-10 minutes, whether it’s a tea bag or metal spoon, will work if no irritation is present. You can literally even use a chilled strawberry.
