I was incredibly excited to receive this kit from Influenster last month. I love the mission of the Jane Iredale brand because who wouldn’t want to use makeup brand that has extra skin care benefits and uses natural ingredients?

The first thing I noticed about the eye shadows and the blush is that even though they are powders, they are super creamy. This also means that they are incredibly blendable. I was also surprised at how pigmented they are and the colors intensify as you continue to layer them. My favorite eyeshadow color in the kit is a purple hue that has a hint of shimmer in it to make your eyes sparkle with each blink. I opted not to use the eyeshadow dual-ended brush that comes with the kit; however, I did use the foundation brush with can be expanded to double the with for applying the mineral powders and then folded in half for applying the brush…genius!

The foundation has a very sheer coverage, so it’s great for the summer when you don’t want full cake-face. That said, you’ll definitely still need a concealer if you want to cover up any imperfections.

The only think that I wasn’t in love with was the lip stain, which has a light pink barely-there hue, which I could achieve with a lip balm.
