I received this sample of Beurre Shea Butter at a trade show and have been using it for the past week and absolutely love it.
The company makes products using ethically sourced unrefined Shea Butter from Ghana as the star ingredient (you all already know how much I adore shea from previous posts), so I already knew that I would love it. Add to that the fact that it’s made with natural ingredients, and it’s become a trusted must-have to keep my hand eczema under control.
It is a very rich cream, so I prefer to apply it on my hands at night before bed to let it soak into my skin uninterrupted and I wake up with smooth, baby-soft hands.
The ingredients in this lotion are extremely straightforward: Shea butter, Grapeseed oil, Jojoba oil, Calendula oil, Vitamin E Oil, Arrowroot powder, Rice Powder, Aloe Vera liquid, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Chamomile oil. Plus, because of how nourishing and toxin-free the ingredients are, it can be used other inflamed skin issues such as dermatitis or psoriasis, not just eczema. It’s fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic and retails for $22. A little bit goes a long way, so the price is totally worth it.
Let me know if you have any other brand suggestions for irritated skin.
