At a beauty tradeshow, I had the opportunity to learn about an interesting brand called Earth tu Face, a plant-based, organic, 100% natural skin care line, which is free of toxins and synthetic compounds. The brand was founded by two herbalists in 2010 and every ingredient included within the products has been chosen for a specific therapeutic reason. This is so important, because as I make the switch to non-toxic beauty, I read the labels of all products before purchasing now, and sometimes, as I read a long list of chemicals I have to ask myself, “did they really need to add that?”

One of my favorite products from the line is the Skin Stick in Geranium + Vetiver (434), which can be used on the face, lips and body (although I’ll admit to using it on my hair from time to time to smooth out frizz). It has a beautiful botanical scent, is hydrating and really is the best product to keep in your bag at all times since it has so many uses. I like using it on my lips (and as I mentioned, on my hair), but you can also use it as a base for your highlighter when applying makeup, to smooth out eyebrows and to moisturize cuticles.
