Product Review: Dr. Brandt Skincare’s Magnetight

I was excited when I received Dr. Brandt’s Magnetight Age-Defier Skin Recharging Magnetic Face Mask in a gift bag last month because of how cool the process looks. You apply the iron-infused mask to your face and then use a magnet to remove the product. The company says the electromagnetic interactions create a “force-field effect” that enhances the skin’s ability to fight the signs of aging over time. While I can’t comment on the anti-aging effects, my skin definitely looked revitalized and hydrated.

The mask is creamy and lavender-scented, and features ground black tourmaline which is known for getting rid of negative energy and boosting positivity, so I’m not sure what it does for the skin. Oh, it’s wayyyy easier to apply with your fingers than the tiny spatula that comes in the box. The removal process was lengthy for me (9 mins!), probably because I put way too much on. I noticed that it came off quicker in areas that had a thin layer.

To see my full review and tutorial on how to use the product, check out the video I posted on Instagram. The product retails for $75.
