If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I’m obsessed with the new limited-edition Urban Decay Gwen Stefani makeup pallet. I created the above look using colors from the collection, which are absolutely gorgeous.
Here are the makeup details:
Eyes: blonde on the lid, danger on the crease and bathwater on inner corner
Lips: Rocksteady liner and lipstick
Cheeks: Easy from the blush palette
Review:
Eye shadow: I was surprised at how pigmented the colors are, especially since there are a lot of muted colors in the palette. The brightest colors are deep blue and gold. There is a lovely soft pink and some purple hues that are light, but the rest of the palette actually reminds me of Urban Decay’s Naked palette with black, white and brown tones. Regardless, they are easy to blend and so versatile.
Lipstick: Many of the lip colors in the line have a matching lip liner. The liner glides on effortlessly and so does the lip color. I tested a bunch of colors on the back of my hand the night before and woke up the next morning and still saw residual color, even after I showered! These lips colors definitely have some serious staying power.
Cheeks: The cheek palette is great if you like a light flush of color. I tried to contour with it, but the colors are not contrasting enough; however, there are fabulous if you want a glow and you can deepen the colors depending on the type of brush you use and how many times you apply the product.
