Estee Lauder Rollerball Lip Gloss – Spring-2013

YEGN01_410x410My very first lip gloss was a strawberry flavored Smackers roller-ball gloss that tasted just as good as it smelled. Now that I’m older, I haven’t exactly been on a quest for my childhood lip product, but Estee Lauder has awoken my memories with the adult version of the rollerball gloss as part of their new Bronze Goddess collection. The collection features two colors: Succulent (orange) and Squeeze (red).

At first, I was scared to use the colors out of fear that the hues would clash with my outfits, but these are very sheer and only deposit a slight tint. The glosses have sweet, mouth-watering fruity scents that make me conjure up images in my head of summertime and tropical islands. I love the old-school rollerball metal tip which glides on smoothly and delivers just the right amount of product. You don’t even need a mirror to apply it, so it’s perfect to use on-the-go. It would be a great lip gloss to take to the beach, because of the cooling sensation the metal rollerball has on the lips and the lightness of the gloss. If you do wear it out in the sun, be sure to apply a lip balm with spf underneath, as shiny glosses can reflect the light and burn your precious pout.

Price: $18. 50
