As I look back on the fashions that flowed down the runway at New York Fashion week, I couldn’t help but notice that scarlet red made a powerful statement in numerous shows this season. The crimson color may be Spring 2011’s new black. Perhaps the bright hue was meant to add a burst of color to contrast the white slush still lurking on the corners on NYC sidewalks.
