First off, before I get into the point of this article, you need stop everything you’re doing because Carol’s Daughter is having a 60% off everything sale on their website today, April 5th.
Clean beauty currently has an accessibility problem, when it comes to offering safer beauty products at an affordable price, and Carol’s Daughter is a great way to get started on cleaning up your beauty routine. Now, let me be clear, this is not a clean beauty brand. While the brand is made with natural ingredients and does not contain sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, mineral oil and artificial colors, some of its products do contain fragrance and Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate), which is linked to cellular level changes and cancer when used topically…just keeping it real with y’all.
All that said, the brand does have a lot of products that the EWG rates as safe. You can find that list here. Reference that list before you go on your Carol’s Daughter shopping spree.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programing.
Carol’s Daughter’s website offers ways to shop if you’re on a budget. When you click on the offers tab you have several great options:
Sale – Obviously, this section features items from the brand that are on sale.
Last Call – Here, you’ll find items the brand is about to take off the market, so it’s your last chance to snag them, and they are heavily discounted.
Affordable Luxury – These are price-y products from the brand that are discounted.
Accessible Beauty – Items in the collection that are super cheap and discounted.
Items $10 or Less – I think the name says it all.
I wanted to point this out, because I love how the brand is making it easy for people on a budget to afford their products. Hopefully, you find the EWG list helpful, and armed with that and the know-how on where to find their discounted items, you can take advantage of the brand’s sales.
