Fashion Show Recap: Dan Lui Fall/Winter 2018

On, Saturday, February 10, I attended the Fall/Winter 2019 presentation of Dan Lui. The theme of the collection was “The Spy Who Loved Me,” which was amplified by the theme music from the classic 1977 movie as well as the spy-esque attire donned by the models.

As one would expect, the clothing was accessorized by a combination of fashionable sunnies from Nectar Sunglasses and chic head scarfs, which gave each model a mysterious, yet glamorous appeal that nicely complemented the outfits. While this collection didn’t have over-the-top glamour, each outfit from the off-shoulder pink dress to the expertly tailored blazers, were statement pieces, meant for a sophisticated female in need of timeless attire.

Arguably, the standouts in the collection were the coats. Highlights included a bright, yellow mid-length parka; a short down jacket with ribbon designs on the sleeves; and, a floral-printed trench coat. Check out some photos from the presentation below.
