Last week I attended the 10th Anniversary arty of New Beauty magazine where a variety of different beauty companies were on hand to celebrate the magazine, as well as show off their products to the room filled with beauty experts. Some of the items on display were products that we all may be familiar with, while others are newcomers eager to make their presence known on the beauty scene. Here are a few my top picks for products to watch out for this year.
Real Techniques Bold Metallics Collection – Developed by Youtube sensation Pixiwoo’s Sam and Nic, this new collection of brushes were inspired by luxury. The soft bristles featured tapered tips and are engineered for perfect weight distribution when tipped toward the face while being used. The brushes are available at ulta.com and boots.com.
BeautyDNA – This new subscription box service will deliver a full-sized product to your door every moth customized to your skin needs. Subscribers fill out a detailed Beauty Profile, the system makes a product match, and then the product is shipped directly to you with a detailed report explaining why it was selected specifically for you.
SuperSmile – This professional at-home teeth whitening line has been around since 1987. The system removes tooth stains without bleaches or abrasives, when users follow the 6-minute regimen developed by the company that includes Activating Rods applied to the teeth, brushing with the Whitening Toothpaste and rinsing with its Whitening Pre-Rinse.
Intellishade – This anti-aging tinted moisturizer is available in Original Radiant and a new matte formula and features spf 45 and features one shade that blends in with every skin tone. It’s a multi-tasking product, perfect for women on the go as it is a sunscreen, moisturizer, makeup and ant-aging product in one.
