How to Contour For Your Skin Complexion

Ever since Kim Kardashian burst out onto the public scene, everyone has become obsessed with contouring – a beauty secret makeup artists kept to themselves…until now. Just search the term “contouring” in Youtube and thousands of videos come up with vloggers sharing their how-tos on how to get sculpted looking cheekbones and a smaller-appearing nose. And, if you’re going to be searching for contouring on Youtube, then you should check out TEMPTU’s new #HOW2TEMPTU video series, featuring TEMPTU Pro Makeup Artist, Tiffany Saxby, who teaches viewers how to use the company’s new Natural Contour Kits ($60 – $200 each at Temptu.com). The videos are perfect because not all contouring is made equal – depending on your skin tone, you may have to adjust the technique. Here, TEMPTU breaks down the techniques for each skin tone:

Light Complexions
Step 1: Highlight cheekbones, forehead, nose and chin.
Step 2: Lowlight under highlighted areas for a sculpted look.
Step 3: Apply foundation over entire face to complete look.

Dark Complexions
Step 1: Highlight cheekbones, forehead, nose and chin.
Step 2: Apply second highlight over same area.
Step 3: Apply foundation over entire face to complete look.
