One of my goals is to highlight brands and companies that are making wellness accessible, and here’s a great clean beauty program you can take advantage of if you want to try safer beauty products, but don’t have the financial means to afford it.

Are you free at 8am on March 30th? If so, head over to Whole Foods (participating locations listed below) and you can get a free beauty bag valued at more than $100.

Here’s the scoop: The retailer is aiming to encourage individuals to swap out their traditional beauty products for ones that have cleaner ingredients by offering the free bags while supplies last.

The catch: You have to bring one empty beauty or body care product to swap out in exchange for the bag.

The initiative is part of its Whole Foods Market Better Beauty Swap program, and is also designed to educate consumers about the strict Body Care Standards that apply to all the beauty and body care products carried in the store.

When: March 30

Where: The event is open to the first 200 consumers in the below select stores.

Time: 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. local time

How: Bring an empty beauty product container and receive one Beauty Bag. No nail polish, nail polish remover, perfume or hair spray accepted. Containers must be completely empty of product.

What happens to the empty bottles? Whole Foods is partnering with TerraCycle, a to recycle the empty beauty product containers collected during the events.

Can’t make it or don’t see your city listed? Whole Foods Market Beauty Bags are available for purchase in stores nationwide for $20 each, beginning March 29 and while supplies last. Also, you can take advantage of the Beauty Week sale, which runs from March 27 – April 2. You can get makeup, facial care, hair care, nail polish, perfume and makeup brushes 25 percent off with an additional 10 percent off for Prime Members.
