Without a doubt one of the shows I was most eager to attend this season was that of Ennyluap. Founded by Amanda Williamson, who was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 nominee for Art &Style for 2017, the brand first debuted at New York Fashion week in 2013, and now 5 years later, continues to wow admirers such as myself, with its timeless collection of contemporary womenswear. After attending several shows before this one, it was easy to get caught up in the glitz and glamour of fashion week presentations, and I was almost startled to see a line of clothing that actually looked wearable off the runway. There was an elegant display of blouses, dresses, pants, and skirts. Dark greys, burgundy and muted red were strongly present, almost as a way of silently communicating that this collection is not for the woman who wants to boldly stand out in a crowd; it’s for the woman who wants to be noticeable only to those she chooses. Notable highlights in the line included a black and white wide-legged jumpsuit, which featured ruffles at the shoulder; a stripe and mesh long-sleeved cocktail dress, and the closing number: a regal, gold and red mini dress.
